The City of Prescott will host a series of open house public meetings to share information about the proposed Airport Vicinity Overlay Zone (AVO). These meetings will be interactive, where citizens can speak to City staff members, ask questions and share comments about the proposed district.
Meeting dates and times are as follows:
Sept. 15th – 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Sept. 20th – 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Sept. 22nd – 10 a.m. to 12 noon
Oct. 5th – 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
All meetings will take place at the Airport Terminal located at 6600 Airport Avenue.
The meetings are open house format, so guests may arrive anytime during the allotted time period. There will be no formal program. Instead there will be information stations with staff members on hand to answer questions and receive comments.
After these open houses are held, the Planning & Zoning Commission will continue a public hearing on the following date to determine what recommendation to send the City Council:
